SC Youth in Government
The Youth in Government (YIG) program helps to create the next generation of good citizens. Through our programs, we demystify local, state and national governmental systems so tomorrow's adults will know how to effect change within these systems. We expand horizons so young people will understand their role within a global society. We do this through a series of programs, conferences, events, trips, and trainings.
Y Teen Achievers
Y Teen Achievers, a signature YMCA of the USA program, is the YMCA of Greenville's high school graduation and mentoring program. Utilizing volunteers, we give students the skills and knowledge they need to graduate, and create a post-high school plan that they can be proud of.
RECESS
RECESS (Recreation, Education, Community, Exercise, Social and Service) is a signature program of The YMCA of Greenville for post-high school adults with diverse abilities. During programming, participants learn about nutrition, fitness, social responsibility, community outreach, and independent living skills.
Babysitting Certification Course
This American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) course is designed to focus on supervising, caring for, and keeping children and infants safe in babysitting settings.
